Jennifer was always aspired to become a multi-tasking celeb. While she was a kid Jennifer was fond of a variety of musical styles, mostly Afro-Caribbean music like merengue salsa, and bachata. She also loved mainstream music , like hip-hop pop, hip-hop and R&B. She was a lover of music, but was also fascinated by the movie industry. West Side Story, a musical performed by Rita Moreno (1961), was her most significant source of inspiration. At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Aside from being a budding entertainer, Jennifer is also a Catholic schoolgirl, attending eight years in a Catholic primary school known as Holy Family situated at The Bronx, before graduating at an all-girls pre-school, Preston High School after a four-year stay. At school, Jennifer was an amazing athlete and was a participant in tennis and track. The majority of her life was spent growing up in a house with two stories within the Castle Hill neighborhood. When she was 18, Jennifer moved out of the home of her parents. Lopez was employed at one of the law firms throughout the day. She also took up dance jobs at night.
